Sunday mornings is prob. not the best time to do a show as none of the comics turned up until just before the start of the show - prob. suffering from alcohol poisoning.
I actually cancelled (no comics/no audience) it and saw it as a blessing in disguise as I had the room to myself and I can practice in front of the mike for the next hour.
then at the last minute the comics and the audience turned up at the same time, so we had a small crowd (6 people) they were a very intelligent and wise bunch, as they laughed at all my new material, now if I could only clone them 10 times, I would have the best audience.
thinking back on it I should have asked them if they had any jokes to tell - will try that next time.

Our Show in the Edinburgh 2013 festival @Espionage Lizard Lounge @16:00 everyday
I've been here a week and we're had 8 fantastic shows, room full to the brim.
Its been quite disheartening to walk along the queue letting people know that the room is completely full and we physically cannot fit another body in there, as there's not even enough space for a comic to stand.
we have been putting on 5-7 comics a show and almost everyone has been awesome.
I've already started planning next years show.
We've not had any reviews yet. but I live in Hope.
The room is small and a bit awkward, but I like it, as it creates a small and intimate audience and everybody has a good laugh, even the audience.
The 4pm slot we have seems to be perfect, our takings are averaging about £50 a show which is pretty, I think and our best taking was on the Sat. afternoon show where we made £76 and it was our best show so far.
I also plan to put some pictures and links to videos I've taken so that other comics can pull their videos off if they want them.
This is my third year and I've learnt a bit more each time, and this is the best year I've had so far. I've already got plans to come back stronger and bigger next year. planning that now.
I'll also list all the comics that have performed there, here.
